The internet presence of our ERASMUS funding project ars vivendi is under construction. Everything is in flux - editorial additions and updates are continually being made here.
The SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) are 17 global goals set by the United Nations to promote sustainable development by 2030, including poverty reduction, environmental protection and social justice.
Aurelia eV has been working in the area of developing educational offerings for schools and young people for over ten years. We have noticed for some time that there is a lack of ESD learning materials and didactic concepts on the content of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for teaching and schools.
ESD is not a subject - and yet there is no subject in which various aspects and topics related to ESD do not play a role. The change towards a sustainable way of life is both an opportunity and an innovation driver for politics, society, culture and the economy. Our concepts work in an interdisciplinary manner because the central question of our time is “How does prosperity work without growth?” can only be answered in an interdisciplinary and diverse manner. With ars vivendi, a didactic concept is being developed for teachers and multipliers to make the SDGs teachable and learnable. In addition, permanent projects and offers for local schools and youth as well as for school tourism are being created in the pilot region “Lago di Como”. ars vivendi is designed as a matrix project and should be able to be reproduced in other regions.
Aurelia eV has coordinated a partner network for this purpose from the areas of pedagogy, environmental education, German-Italian educational cooperation, nature and species protection, social youth work and natural science. We look forward to working on the project with our partners Villa Vigoni, the German-Italian. Center for the European Dialogue, Cipra International, Cooperativa AZALEA, with the network of Lombard parks and gardens, the Bergamo Botanical Garden, with the Cooperazione Educativa from the environment of the University of La Sapienza Rome and with the students of the Überlingen high school and the regional schools Leonardo da Vinci and Enzio Vanoni.
We will publish learning materials, interactive didactics, a handbook as a guide for educators for free access to OSS portals. A toolbox with learning apps, coaching cards and coaching posters will be created, as well as a range of guided activities in the region and for the region. Our ars vivendi offer is aimed at students and young adults between the ages of 14 and 23 and is specifically suitable for every type of school.
