Wanderung Greenway

The Greenway Workshop was developed from Lenno main square, and ended up in Mezzegra, in the historical village of Bonzanigo.

Because at the beginning the group starts their walk on the Lake shore in the middle of Venere Gulf, where they can enjoy an open view of the central area of the lake they were given an opportunity to appreciate the diverse elements of the landscape by observing the view through a plate of plexiglass. Upon a transparent sheet placed over the plexiglass plate they were able to draw the most important features of the landscape: vertical and horizontal lines, layers of mountains, the lake surface. They were then asked to add anything to the landscape just by drawing it on the transparent sheet.

On a second stop, while walking to Mezzegra, they were invited to sample vegetal biodiversity in a meadow: there they collected different specimens of herbaceous plants.

Following the path a new activity was offered to the attention of students: they had to observe micro and macro diversity in the landscape, what were the causes ot this diversity (biologic and non-biologic diversity).

On a subsequent stop landscape ecology was under their attention thanks to the visit of the 'Casa dei presepi', where an artistic interpretation of the lake landscape is presented to the public.

As a last activity in the historical hamlet of Bonzanigo a set of pictures was shared with the students that represented some non eye-catching details taken among the houses so that they could explore, by means of an easy but engaging 'treasure hunt', the little roads and ancient buildings in order to search for signs of nature (plants) growing among the old stones and also for traces of hidden beauty.

Der Greenway Workshop startet am Hauptplatz von Lenno und endet in Mezzegra, im historischen Dorf Bonzanigo.

Während eines Spazierganges am Seeufer in der Mitte des Golfs von Venere, wo man einen freien Blick auf den zentralen Bereich des Sees genießen kann, kommt eine Plexiglasscheibe zum Einsatz. Auf einer transparenten Folie, die über die Plexiglasplatte gelegt wurde, können die wichtigsten Merkmale der Landschaft gezeichnet werden: vertikale und horizontale Linien, Bergschichten, die Seeoberfläche. Dann werden die Teilnehmer gebeten, der Landschaft etwas hinzuzufügen, indem sie es einfach auf das transparente Blatt zeichneten.

Bei einem zweiten Stopp auf dem Weg nach Mezzegra wurden alle eingeladen, die pflanzliche Artenvielfalt auf einer Wiese zu studieren und verschiedene Kräuter und Gewächse zu sammeln.

Im Anschluss an den Pfad wird eine neue Aktivität angeboten: Die Mikro- und Makrodiversität in der Landschaft wird beobachtet, und die Ursachen dieser Diversität (biologische und nicht-biologische Diversität) diskutiert.

Im anschließenden Besuch der „Casa dei presepi“, wo der Öffentlichkeit eine künstlerische Interpretation der Seenlandschaft präsentiert wird, geht es um das Thema "Landschaftsökologie".

Als letzte Aktivität im historischen Dörfchen Bonzanigo wird eine Reihe von Bildern an die Teilnehmer verteilt. Diese zeigen einige nicht auffällige Details, die zwischen den Häusern aufgenommen wurden, damit diese durch eine einfache, aber spannende „Schatzsuche“ erkundet werden können. Kleine Straßen und alte Gebäude werden nach Zeichen der Natur (Pflanzen) untersucht. Sie wachsen zwischen den alten Steinen als Spuren verborgener Schönheit.
